At least 37 dead and hundreds evacuated after strike on Kyiv weapons depot

A very sad event happens in Kyiv. There is a big strike, like an explosion. Many people die, at least 37 people. Also, many hundreds of people must leave their homes. They are evacuated to safe places.

The strike hits a special building. This building is a weapons depot. A depot is a place where things are kept. Here, weapons for Ukraine's army are kept. But this depot is very close to where people live, near houses and apartments.

Now, officials start an investigation. They want to know why the weapons were stored so close to people's homes. They want to understand what happened and why it was dangerous for the people living nearby.
