Degree but no job: The battle against unemployment in Gaza

Young people in Gaza finish university. They get a degree. But many cannot find work. This is called unemployment. It is a very big problem there. The number of young people without jobs is very high, like 70% or more. This makes life hard for them and their families.

The main reason for this problem is the war. The war devastates the job market. This means the war makes it very difficult for businesses to work. Some shops close. Some factories stop. There are not many new jobs. So, when young graduates finish their studies, there are no places for them to work.

It is sad for these young people. They study hard to learn new things. They want to use their skills. They want to help their families. But the situation in Gaza is very difficult. They have hope, but finding a job is a big fight for them every day.
