Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo now deadliest in country’s history

There is a serious disease outbreak in a country called the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This disease is Ebola. Many people are getting sick, and many people are dying.

Government information says that 2,325 people have died from the Ebola virus. This number is very sad. It is bigger than the number of deaths from an Ebola outbreak a few years ago, from 2018 to 2020. This new outbreak truly surpasses the old one in terms of how many lives it takes.

The country's public health office also says that there are many people who have the virus. There are 4,945 known cases of Ebola. In just one day, 101 new people were found to have the virus. This outbreak is growing, and it is a very big problem for the country.
