China Wants Its Data to Power the World’s A.I.

China has a new plan. It wants to share its data with the world. This data helps make Artificial Intelligence, or A.I., very smart. A.I. learns from a lot of information. China sends its own A.I. models to other countries. But now, it also wants to send the special information, called data, that teaches these A.I. models.
