Anthropic’s Blacklisting by the Pentagon Was Legal, Federal Judges Rule

There is a company named Anthropic. This company makes special computer programs called AI. AI means computers can think a little like people. The US military is called the Pentagon. The Pentagon says Anthropic's AI can be a risk to the country. This means something bad might happen if they use it.

Because of this risk, the Pentagon decided to stop using Anthropic's products. They did not want to buy anything from Anthropic. Anthropic was not happy about this decision.

Anthropic went to court. They wanted judges to say the Pentagon's decision was wrong. But the judges looked at everything. They say the Pentagon's decision is okay. They say the Pentagon has good reasons to worry about national security. So, the Pentagon can stop using Anthropic's AI products.
