A big AI company called Anthropic wants to sell parts of its business to the public. This is called an IPO. They are doing this even though their leader, Dario Amodei, says that some new AI needs to be developed more slowly. This is an interesting situation.

Anthropic expects to make a lot of money this year. They think they will get $100 billion. This is a very large amount. This money comes from the things their AI systems do for people and other businesses.
