New Species of Cat Discovered for First Time in a Century

Good news! Scientists found a new type of cat. This is a very important event because people did not find a new cat **species** for 100 years. This cat is called a tilcayo.

Scientists **discovered** the tilcayo in Bolivia, a country in South America. The tilcayo is **smaller** than a regular house cat. It lives in a special kind of forest. This forest is called a cloud forest. Cloud forests are high up in the Andes Mountains.

Finding this new cat helps us learn more about animals and nature. It shows that there are still many unknown creatures in the world. It also tells us that we must protect these wild places, like the cloud forests, so these animals can live safely. The tilcayo is a wonderful new part of our planet's animal family.
